Digital Copies of Out Of Print Books

Try these sites in your search for a free digital copy of that out-of-copyright book:

Local libraries may have copies as well.

  1. I use Google Books all the time and absolutely love it for out of print books; I have found a number of books that contain references to my family's history and places they have lived there. If anyone has not checked it before, they certainly should try by keyword first, such as family name or place where the family lived at which time. Just a suggestion to help guide some of those who may be less technologically literate.

  2. Agree - Google Books is a terrific source for older books with lots of Genealogical information. Also try different Spellings of the names you are searching for.
