Ancestry.com Loads All 1940 Census Images-Free Until 10 April

Ancestry.com has released all the 1940 census images on their website. Registered Ancestry.com users can view them (and the indexes) through 2013. Ancestry is having a free period on their 1940-era databases on their site through 10 April . The images are fairly nice images.

Here's a sample from Rock Island County, Illinois, in it's original size.

    Michael,

    I think the 1940 census images and index are free for registered users through 2013.

    It's the other 1940s ear databases they have (a long list) that are free until 10 April.
